Yellow Swallowtail Butterfly flying in nature.

Come to Amherst Library and join Kathie Driscoll from Nature Foundation at Wintergreen to discover natural buildings by design. Birds can build nests to withstand storms, winds, and even derechos, can you? After investigating their techniques, we will head outside to design our own bird nests!

For ages 8 to 12.

Limit to 20 people.

Sign up sheet available.
